Ancient and rugged granite is the foundation on which the character of this place is formed. Pine and lofty red oak, osprey and eagles keep watch over the land from towering cliffs, and below on wave washed beaches, the power of rock and river meet. The area holds a rich and colourful lore. Its roots lie deep, before the beginning of time. Petals of heavenly flowers fell to earth and were scattered on the mighty river. The petals fell on the swirling waters and created MANITUANA - THE GARDEN OF THE GREAT SPIRIT.
